Podcast Production & Multimedia
A technology podcast exploring the current state of the internet and how it can be improved. I handle the full pipeline: research, guest sourcing, recording, production, and social repurposing. Peaked at No. 126 on Apple Podcasts Technology.
Is This The New Internet? is a technology podcast I created, produce, and host. The show explores the current state of the internet — what's broken, what's being built, and whether any of it is actually better — through long-form conversations with founders, builders, and critics.
What I Do
Every episode starts with research. I identify guests, study their work, and develop a line of questioning that goes deeper than the standard promotional interview circuit. The goal is a conversation where the guest says something they haven't said on another show, which means the prep has to be thorough enough that I'm not asking the same questions everyone else does.
I handle the full production pipeline: guest sourcing and scheduling, interview preparation, recording, editing, and post-production. After each episode ships, I repurpose the content for social media — pulling key moments, writing contextual posts, and adapting the material for different platforms and formats.
Distribution
The show's primary home is Spotify, with approximately 30% of listeners on Apple Podcasts. YouTube is the visibility and discoverability channel, where the show can reach audiences who wouldn't find it through podcast directories alone.
The show peaked at No. 126 on the Apple Podcasts Technology charts.
Why This Matters for Client Work
Podcasting is research, interviewing, writing, editing, and distribution rolled into one deliverable. It's the same muscle set that drives content strategy and brand storytelling — understanding an audience, finding the angle, and producing something that earns attention in a crowded space. The fact that I've done it independently, without a production team or a network behind it, is the proof.
